Man, Religion and his Identity

I can’t imagine on my facebook IP address the very day I posted my view on religion ‘Am fortunate to be a Christian’.
The traffic isn’t necessary from those that click on my facebook page but as a result of my friend’s link on which this post appear on. Subsequently some rang my phone and some confronted me with words of mouth saying am not proud of my conviction, some said am canal minded and other attribute it to lack of faith.
From observation I ponder and wonder and still reminiscing on my taught if my father can be convinced/confused to denounce his identity as a Yoruba to become an Igbo or the Hausa man! Or can I and my elder ones be talked/brainwash as well?
Here I come to realize that one’s religion seems his identity and some a time as culture to those who share common faith. What amaze me most is how do you convince an Imam Son/Daughter that the religion they’re practicing isn’t perfect and that the Quran is not meant for them. Viz; an Archbishops Son/Daughter that the religion they practice is less effective and that the Bible is not good for them.
It will only take a radical taught to bring about this change, we’re all locked into  our religious belief because we were born into it and while we grow up in same premises regardless of it status and nature we still see the beauty in them. To stop this religion bigotry, sentiments, radicalism, fanaticism and extremism we need to have our religion civilized, as civilization got our tradition and culture arrested. While we still uphold the fundamental purpose for our faith.
I think the literary definition of civilization is getting along with people from different cultural background, tradition, ethnicity, color and religious belief as it was in Mesopotamia some thousand years back and still ongoing in the world today at large.

DISINTEGRATION OF A COUNTRY CALLED NIGERIA

How possible is Nigeria disintegration? A multi-cultural entity with almost three hundred ethno-societal group having various languages spoken within its six geopolitical zone namely: North, North Central, North East, South East, South West and the South South.

Each is characterize by slight differences in dialect, yet the major discrepancy in their co-existence and interaction is the emerging of each group by their faith, while a religion group see itself as superior to the other. Nigeria is shared and now demarcated by the mainly Muslims in the north, Christian in the south and the mixed west.

The south west have since communal civilization enjoy tranquility at its best, basically by understanding their essence of existence. Having realize that before the arrival of foreign ideology(Religion) they have coexist as a mini-nation for millennium.

The south south and the south east which are mainly christian and fetish have lived in peace and harmony with each other from pre-existance, and have respect for each other point of view in whatever the individual or group worship or faith is/are.

The North is mainly Muslims populated with some 25-30% Christian. With the emergent of the religion ideology under which some sects such as Boko haram, JAMBS and other defector are hiding, the life, peace, fate and faith of fellow Christians in these region mainly the north east will be endangered at any attempt to disintegrate this nation.

The division of  Nigeria cannot be tied nor can it be limited and can rarely be determined by our complexity in the terms of the vast ethnic group nor the regional conflict such as the inter-tribal and communal not even the reflection of the hardship to be undergone as to attain true federalism as a sovereign state. But the lack of respect for our separate existence for our religious belief.

I can't live to see fellow Christian forced to become a convert while a possible genocide will remain the fate of those that will surely refuse to denounce their faith. It will be a prejudice to the Christian community of this nation to see fellow Christian become a victim of habitual disaster and fortunate of regional displacement neither should they be ripped off of their faith.
